He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Owen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Stewart of Montana; his brother Thomas D. Owen (Joan); his children, Elisabeth Owen Hayes (Christopher) and William Nicholas Owen (Alison Mayer); his niece Kimberly Helene Owen; and his stepchildren, Anne Margaret Correll (Hunter) of Montana and Richard Anthony (Sarah) of Montana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
