He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carole A. Carter of Southern Pines, NC.; his children, Mary Kathryn Carter of Bushnell, FL, Michael Scott Carter of Naples, FL, Emily Ann Carter of Auburn, AL, Harry Hart Carter Jr. of Alpine, CA, William Robert Carter of Milford, DE, George Whitfield Carter II of Atlanta, GA and Amy Kathleen Krizmanic of Aurora, IL; and his siblings, George, Bud, Joann Parker and Robert A. Carter. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
