With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M Thonet Jr. (Southern Pines, North Carolina), who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel Baumbusch; and his daughter Dana Gross. He is survived by: his children, Denise Forner of Cherry Hill, NJ, Corinne Brown of Dover, PA and George Thonet of San Antonio, TX.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great - grandchildren.
