He was predeceased by: his parents, Holmes Wasson and Charlene Davies Lynn; and his siblings, Robert Davies Lynn and Jenny Lynn Alsop. He is survived by: his wife Dottie; his children, Carelyn Monroe (Gary) of Chapel Hill, NC, William Lynn (Kristi) of Redmond, WA, Christopher Lynn (Cindy) of Cincinnati, OH and Suzanne Ninke (David) of Golden, CO.; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Jeffrey Monroe, David, Christopher Lynn, John, Sarah, Ryan Lynn, Elizabeth and Hannah Ninke.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Penick Village Chapel (500 E Rhode Island Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Warren Ohio, where he served on the Vestry and as the President of the Christ Church Foundation.
