With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bruce Melvin Honeycutt Sr. (Southern Pines, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Purdie Honeycutt and Sallie Royal Honeycutt; and his siblings, Lenwood Honeycutt and Minnie Kitchin. He is survived by: his wife Fay Matthews Honeycutt of Southern Pines; his sons, Bruce Melvin Honeycutt (Mel), Craig Fletcher Honeycutt (Amber) of Elon and Paul Andrew (Andy); his grandchildren, Reagan, Lanning (Emma Dye), Griffin (Lauren), Carson, Camille, Carter and Drew; and his great grandchild James Craig Honeycutt.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home Chapel (425 W Pennsylvania Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
