It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Kern Barrick (Southern Pines, North Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Alan Kern's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alan Kern has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Barrick and Floyd Barrick. He is survived by: his wife Fran; and his children, Jan, John (Gina) and Andy (Linda). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
