He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Epperly and Mildred Louise White Epperly; and his son Brian Epperly. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Parsons Epperly; his children, Valerie Epperly (Patrick) of Gloucester, VA, Lori A. Hogge of Gloucester, VA and John M. Murray, Jr. (Jessica) of Oviedo, FL; his siblings, Barbara Davis (Chuck) of Denham Springs, LA and Danny Epperly (Brenda) of Yorktown, VA; and his grandchildren, Mason Howard, Kobe Murray, Samantha Murray and Lucas Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
