It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Quinton Ray Onley Sr. (South Mills, North Carolina), born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinton Onley and Elma Armstrong Onley; and his sisters, Glenda Onley White and Norma Jean Bateman. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Jeanette Upton Onley; his children, Quinton Ray Onley, Jr. of South Mills, NC and Daffy Onley Scott (Timmy) of South Mills, NC; his granddaughters, Shae Scott and Kaleigh Scott; his sisters, Gail Hobbs and Deloris Meads (Vance); his brother-in-law Johnny Upton (Mary); and his pets, Dixie and Missy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
