She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Bingham Gilmore and Rose Waterman Gilmore; her husband Allen Bishop; her son Allen Bishop Jr.; and her siblings, Rose Sorey (Jim) and Richard Gilmore (Debbie).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Scottie and Bree; her pet Milo; her daughters, Lisa Carpenter (Scott) and Laurie Smith (Chris); her grandchildren, Scott Carpenter Jr., Lillie "Bree" Deguzman, Lexi Deguzman, Rachel Bishop and Malia Smith; and her siblings, Joanne Lambert (Joe), Mary Taylor, Deborah Sorey (Roy), Forrest "Pinky" Gilmore (Debbie) and Kenneth "Butch" Gilmore (Madeline). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many friends.
