It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Moran Carter of South Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl W. Moran and Kathryn S. Moran of Punta Gorda, FL.. She is survived by: her husband Bertram E. Carter of South Mills, NC; her daughter Susan Jantzen (Neil) of Aydlett, NC; her stepchildren, April Lynn Carter of Fredericksburg, VA and Ryan Lee Carter (Nicole) of Fredericksburg, VA; and her brother Carl W. "Bill" Moran, II (Carolyn) of Portsmouth, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully asks that donations in Candy's honor be made to any local Animal Shelter/SPCA.
