We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2020, at the age of 86, Delmar Harrell Hilbert (South Mills, North Carolina), born in Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eber Loyd Hilbert and Nancy Inez Harrell Coffman; his son Jeffrey O. Hilbert; and his sister Rita Garafola. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rhodes Hilbert; his children, Kathleen Ellis, Christine Burgess, Daniel Hilbert, Charles Hilbert and Gabriel Hilbert; and his stepson George Michael Bassett. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
