She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene T. McPherson; and her grandson Randy Overton. She is survived by: her children, Randy E. McPherson (Denise) of Roper, NC, Anita S. McPherson of South Mills, NC, Craig L. McPherson (Melissa) of South Mills, NC, Chanda A. McPherson of South Mills, NC and Rashard Overton (Allison) of Elizabeth City, NC; her siblings, Rosazell Roundtree of Elizabeth City, NC and Linwood White of Currituck, NC; and her sister-in-law Marion McPherson of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
