With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winnie Luckett of Sophia, North Carolina, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. McGown and Alice Angel McGown; and her daughter-in-law Diana F. Luckett. She is survived by: her husband Jay B Luckett; her children, Kerry Beamon (Scott) of Archdale, Jessica Ward (Josh) of Thomasville and Jay B Luckett II of Archdale; her grandchildren, Bethany Freeman, Waylon Luckett (Jenna Phillips), Bryson Ward, Blake Ward and Faith Ward; and her siblings, Patty McHenry (Tommy), Debbie Wishon, Joel McGown, Paul McGown and James Parker (Lisa). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
