He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mills Lewallen and Clarence Lewallen; his son Brad Lewallen; his half-brother Keith Lewallen; and his stepmother Shirley Lewallen.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Lewallen; his son Mark Lewallen of Sophia; his siblings, Cathy Walker (James) of Fancy Gap, VA and Donald "Donnie" Lewallen (Bonnie) of Lewisville, TX; his half-brother Tim Lewallen (Esther) of Sophia; his stepbrother Johnny Rivers (Vicki) of Trinity; and his grandson Jackson Hinz.
