We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Linda Byrd of Sophia, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Jarrell and Fredericka Jarrell; her siblings, Fonda Evans, Barbara Lockhart, Howard Jarrell and Cindy Parrish; and her grandson Michael Taylor Byrd.

She is survived by: her husband George Stanley Byrd Sr.; her sons, Stan Byrd Jr. (Deana) and Michael Byrd (Natasha); her grandchildren, Lindsay Byrd, Trey Byrd (Polly), Ayden Byrd and Avery Byrd; and her great-grandkids, Chesney Davis and Oakleigh Byrd.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the GuilRand Memorial Park Cemetery (1550 NC-62, High Point, NC 27263).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to consider making a donation to the Archdale-Trinity Serco Club Christmas Cheer Fund, P.O. Box 4956 Archdale, NC 27263, in memory of Linda Byrd.
