He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard and Bonnie Van Zant Rhoton; his siblings, Ruth Rhoton, Suella Bledsoe and David Rhoton; and his grandson Jamie Laster.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rhoton; his children, Brenda Rhoton, Debra Brady (Robert), Pam Christian (Marty), Candice Long (Kenneth), Kenneth Wayne Rhoton, Dennis Rhoton (Amy) and David Rhoton (Cheri); and his grandchildren, Christina Siler and James Christian. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
