With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Norcom of Sophia, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Joseph Norcom; and his stepfather Jerry Morris Howell. He is survived by: his mother Ellen Norcom Howell of Sophia; his siblings, Laura Norcom Bumgarner (Brent) of Raleigh, Joseph W. Norcom (Patti) of Charlotte and David H. Norcom of Sophia; his niece Beth Norcom Carroll (Thad) of Catherine Norcom, T. J; and his nephews, Nathan Owens (Marihelen) and Ben Owens.
