We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2019, at the age of 65, Elaine Stein (Sophia, North Carolina), born in Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Betty Davis Baxley of Sophia and Billy Baxley; her husband Keith Stein; her children, Steven Stein (Barbara) of Greensboro, Debbie Jordan of Sophia, Maria Kitchen of Thomasville and Melissa Stein of Randleman; and her siblings, Randy Baxley (Judy) of Sophia, David Baxley (Donna) of Trinity and Tammy Bowen (Kevin) of Asheboro. She was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
