He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Eugene "Gene" Whitt and Annie "Joyce" Yates Whitt; and his brother Ricky Whitt. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Aleshire Whitt; his children, Danny Whitt (Samantha), Taylor Whitt and Madison Whitt; his grandchildren, Jacie Whitt, Braylee Whitt, Kaiden Croker and Karter Croker; his sisters, Debbie Lanier (Clyde) and Diane Deaton; and his friend Don Rushing.
