It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Floyd Davis (Sophia, North Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Davis; his wife Annie Mae Chaney Davis; and his brothers, John Davis, Eugene Davis, Dalmer Davis and Lee Davis.
He is survived by: his parent Ruby Cole Davis; his child Al F. Davis, Jr.; his wife Laura of Sophia; his grandchildren, Michael Davis, Misty Godwin, Melissa Higgins, Amy Freeman, Chaz Freeman and Ray Freeman; and also, Kenneth W. Nixon, Sylvia of Kernersville, Carl R. Freeman of Sophia, Connie S. Goode and Carr.
