He is survived by: his wife Kay Griffin Wade; his daughters, Sheila Wade of Snow Hill, Terri Wade Carpenter (Jon) of Snow Hill and Kelly Wade Thigpen of Snow Hill; his siblings, Reba Wade Creech of Snow Hill, Laverne Wade Rhodes (Delbert) of Snow Hill, Kenneth Wade (Dianne) of Snow Hill and Winfred Wade (Barbara) of Graham; his granddaughters, Celia Owen, Leigh Owen Rogers (Jake), Mary Owen, Emily Owens Smith (Brandon), Laura Carpenter and Anna Carpenter; his great grandchild Elijah Lopez; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Noah Smith, Logan Smith and Brantley Smith.
