He is survived by: his children, Joshua Canty (Summer), Jarvis Canty of Goldsboro, NC and Stacy Baker of Wilson, NC; and his siblings, William Hagans (Evon), Walter Hagans (Katie), Saraphinea Sheppard (William), Hazel Headen, Gwen Wright (Michael) and Phyllis Hagans. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
