Walston (Snow Hill, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Clifton and Katie Page Walston; and his sister Linda Winstead Peedin. He is survived by: his wife Debra Sugg Walston; his sons, William Michael Walston (Avilon) of Raleigh, Charles David Walston (Cindy) of Snow Hill, Phillip Walston of Carolina Beach and Richard Douglas Walston (Jan) of Knoxville, TN; his stepchildren, Anna Roberts (Dan) of Elm City, Kathryn Leanard of Rocky Mount and Holland Heck (Anna) of Newton; and his brother Wayne Walston of Reidsville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
