She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Lovett and Nannie Riley Lovett; her husband Ernest L. Price; and her son-in-law Donald Joyner. She is survived by: her children, Michael Price (Jan) of Snow Hill and Teresa Price Joyner of Walstonburg; her grandchildren, David Price, Alex Price and Abigail Joyner; and her close friends, Rachel and Travis Harper.
