He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lindy McCoy and Florence Sugg McCoy; his son Timothy "Timmy" Reynolds McCoy, Jr.; and his siblings, Angela M. Fields, Gordon McCoy, Randolph McCoy and Robert H. McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Kearney McCoy; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa K. Schultz (Larry) and Gerald Kearney (Julia).
