Sonny Wooten Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2023, at the age of 57, Sonny Wooten (Snow Hill, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Simeon Augustus Wooten, Jr.; and his grandparents, George, Ritta Galloway Eason, Simeon Augustus and Jennie Lane Wooten.

He is survived by: his mother Judy Eason Wooten of New Bern; his siblings, Dawn Wooten Ferreira (Brad) of New Bern and George Eason Wooten (September Smith) of Morehead City; and his nieces and nephews, Austin Ferreira (Emily) of Raleigh, Luke Ferreira of Clayton, Kody Wooten of Raleigh, George Wooten, Jr. (Nutjarawee) of Garner and Whitley Wooten of Beaufort.
