He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Sidney and Irene Langston Grant; his wife Marie Stroud Grant; and his siblings, Lloyd "Dick" Grant and Marie Grant Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Sidney Grant II (Rhonda) of Goldsboro, Lori Grant Crider of Kenly, Carolyn Grant Sikora (Chris) of Goldsboro and Christy Grant of Kenly; his grandchildren, Ryan, Ashten, Eddie Ray, Brandon, Brittney, Andrew, Aliciana and Gabriella; and his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Charlie, Wyatt, Rylee, Jackson, Alaina, Beau and Brendan.
