She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman and Irene Harrison Slater; her husband Robert Harold McCoy Sr.; her son Robert Harold "Bobby" McCoy Jr.; and her siblings, Billie Slater Tyndall and John Chan Slater.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie McCoy (Sue) of LaGrange and Lori Ann McCoy of Snow Hill; her daughter-in-law Arlene McCoy Harper (Harold) of Snow Hill; her sister-in-law Mary Phillips Slater of Hookerton; her grandchildren, Cale Hill (Debbie) of LaGrange, Michael McCoy (Amanda) of Snow Hill, Craig McCoy of Snow Hill, Kristie Tetterton of LaGrange, Dawn McCoy (Chuck Johnson) of Snow Hill and Ashley Tilghman (Stacey) of Snow Hill; and her great grandchildren, Maven McCoy, Kacie McCoy, Caleb Tilghman, Brayden Tetterton and Robbie McCoy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
