She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Wells and Lula Edmundson Wells; and her children, Jimmy Ray Sutton and Emery Durward Rouse. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila S. Lancaster (Mike) of Hookerton, Karen S. Sutton (Johnny) of Hookerton, Cheryl S. Taylor (Nick) of Hookerton and Missy S. Jones (Dewitt) of Hookerton; her grandchildren, Brook L. Wade (Jeromy), Jake Lancaster (Tara), Matt Sutton (Kathleen), Marc Sutton (Cortni Hudson), Stephen McDonald (Miranda), Zach Huggins (Heather Carlyle) and Jenna Sutton (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Bailey Wade, Jentzen Wade, Nakoa Lancaster, Marcus Sutton, Ella Grace Sutton, Madelyn Sutton, Kinzlee McDonald and Jaxon McDonald; her brother Alton Wells (Grace) of Ayden; her stepchildren, Durward Allen Rouse of Kinston and Ronald Rouse of Greenville; and her sister-in-law Carol Morris Wells of Snow Hill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
