Rosetta Barrow Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosetta Barrow Smith (Snow Hill, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Roosevelt Barrow and Emma Thomas Barrow; her husband Carson Edward Smith; and her siblings, Ruby Daniels, Gladys Wells, Marie Perry, Jessie Ham, Ann Davis, James Barrow, Robert Barrow, Wade Barrow and Oscar Mooring.
She is survived by: her sons, Kent Smith (Ruth), Bobby Smith (Kim) and Stacy Smith; her grandchildren, Wendy Hair (Scott), Mary Katherine Cruz (Matt), Anna Elizabeth Smith and Lane Ward (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Carson Bennett Hair and Emma Claire Smith; and her sister Margaret Sutton.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Snow Hill Cemetery (1112 Kingold Blvd, Snow Hill, NC 28580). Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of one's choice.
