She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Jones and Hazel L. Jones; her husband Jack Donald Blizzard; and her brothers, Paul Jones, Wilmon Jones and Kenneth Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Donnie Blizzard (Kathy) of Stantonsburg and Dal Blizzard of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Luke Blizzard (Dena) of Stantonsburg, Marianna B. Paquet (Matt) of Zebulon, Danielle Blizzard of Raleigh, Jena Blizzard of Snow Hill and Lexi Blizzard of Snow Hill; her great grandchildren, Jackson Blizzard, Brody Blizzard and Marygrace Paquet; her sisters, Jean J. Jones of Snow Hill and Angelia J. Herring of LaGrange; her caregiver Laura Evans; and her close friend Holly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
