She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wood and Nina Rouse Wood; her husband John Robert Wade; and her sons, Jeffrey Gordon Wade and Robert Lee "Bobby" Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Wade Snead of Kinston, Billy Ray Wade (Deborah) of Ormondsville and Harvey Wade (Geraldine) of Ormondsville; her daughter-in-law Ann H. Wade of Grifton; her sister Betty Wood Potter of Kinston; and her grandchildren, Wendy Snead Wessell, Teresa Wade Thompson, Harvey Ray Wade Jr., Sandy Snead, Amy Wade Woolard, Jeffrey Wade, Misty Wade Fussell and Lee Wade. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and lots of special friends.
