She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Johnson and Myrtle Hortense Allen Johnson; her husband Donald Ray Pate; her sons, Donald Ray Pate Jr. (Carroll) of Selma and Michael Ray Pate; her son-in-law Sammy Pruitt; and her siblings, Emma Jordan, Sudie Myatt, Mildred "Jewel" Wells, Kenneth Johnson and Eddie "Bud" Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Pruitt of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Brittany Gerena (Anthony) of Snow Hill, Ashlynn Doyle of Asheville, Adian Pate of Selma and Olivia Pate of Selma; her great grandchildren, Atticus Gerena of Snow Hill and Dameon Gerena of Snow Hill; and her caregiver Myrtle Johnson of Snow Hill.
