It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nannie Mae Barrow (Snow Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Clyde and Nannie Whaley Hoffman; her husband James William Barrow; her children, Jennifer B. Harper and William Harvey "Bill" Barrow; her siblings, Emmett C. Hoffman Jr., Rufus Hoffman, Hamlin Hoffman, Verna H. Dunn, Ruby H. McEntire, Thelma H. Watkins and Mildred H. Conner; her granddaughter Julie Harper; and her son-in-law Bobby McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Jean B. Ham (Ed) of Morehead City, Elaine B. Davis (Calvin) of Greensboro, Dale B. Manning (Ronnie) of Snow Hill, Arlene McCoy Harper (Harold) of Snow Hill and Annis B. Stallings (Burgess) of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Scott Ham (Stacy) of Memphis, TN, Tracey Thomas (Tim) of Wake Forest, Todd Davis (Heather) of Climax, Angie Davis of Greensboro, Sharon Lanaville (Josh) of Goldsboro, Craig McCoy of Snow Hill, Dawn McCoy of Snow Hill and David Murray (Emily) of Snow Hill; her son-in-law Randy Harper (Phyllis) of Snow Hill; her sister Faye H. Cox of Chocowinity; and her brother-in-law Bailey Barrow of Kinston. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
