She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clayton Shirley and Bessie Beaman Shirley; her husband Sanford N. "Sam" Corbett; and her siblings, Litha Mae Shirley Britt, George Shirley, Maylon Shirley, Phillip Shirley and Ed Shirley.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Sherry Corbett Sowers.
