She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert W. Jones and Nan Harrison Jones; her son Benjamin T. "Chuck" Harper, Jr.; and her brother Gilbert Wallace Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Laura Harper O'Brien (Tom) of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Benjamin T. "Ben" Harper III (Ann) of Stantonsburg, James H. Harper III (Meredith) of Snow Hill, Katherine O'Brien (Chelsea) of Raleigh and Nancy O'Brien Mikels (Alex) of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Carson, Duke, Luke, Jake, Avery and Royce; her siblings, Linda J. Jones of Snow Hill and Michael Bishop Jones of Snow Hill; and her daughter Judy Mooring Brune (Ron) of Greenville, SC.
