She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Edwards and Maude Mae Beaman Edwards; her husband Clinton Hubert Joyner; her son Reverend Alan C. Joyner; her great grandchild Thomas Cameron Hayes; and her brother Dennis Brann.
She is survived by: her son Tony Llewellyn Joyner (Elisabeth) of Winston-Salem; her daughter-in-law Janet Smith Joyner of Fountain; her grandchildren, Rebecca Brooke Joyner Hayes (Mitch) of Wilson, Harris Christian Joyner of Winston-Salem, Elisabeth Jackson Joyner of Winston-Salem and Salem Mae Joyner of Winston-Salem; her siblings, Marie Klein of Crawfordville, FL, Margaret Garris of Stantonsburg and Wayne Edwards (Jean) of Four Oaks; and her friend Bill Peed of Rock Ridge.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Stantonsburg (313 S Main St, Walstonburg, NC 27883). A reception will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
