He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood Hamm and Hazel Radford Hamm; his siblings, Jean Whitfield and Sanford Hamm; and his great grandchild Braxton Pearce.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Ivey Hamm; his children, Jena Snyder (Dan) of Winterville and Robbie Hamm of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Trey Pearce (Nicole) and Taylor Pittman (Jayson); his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Pittman, Kayson Pittman, Karter Pittman, Bryson Pearce, Ty Pearce, Ean Wade and Emily Pearce; his nephew Ben Whitfield of Pinkney; his brother-in-law Tim Ivey of Goldsboro; and his pets, Dixie, Daisy and Dolly.
