She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Aycock and Katie Hart Aycock. She is survived by: her husband Ernie Layden; her children, Natalie Melki Ervin (Justin), John Paul Melki, Jessica Melki, Virginia Graves and Erwin Layden, III; her grandchildren, Hollie Michelle Melki, Peyton Stroud and Gracie Graves; and her siblings, David Aycock, Douglas Aycock, Tim Aycock and Betty Jo Hughes.
