It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Moore Keel (Snow Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norville Eugene "Doc" Moore and Doris Hart Moore; and her siblings, Imelda M. Suggs, Raymond Eugene Moore and Edward Royce Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Keel (Christy) of Snow Hill and Angie Keel Jones (Michael) of Dudley; her grandchildren, Blake Jones, Brook J. Bing (Jeff), Taylar K. Everett (Justin), Daly Keel and Mattie Grace Keel; her great grandchildren, Jameson Everett and Halen Bing; and her sister Lou Ellen Barrow of Snow Hill.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harrell's Chapel Ofwb Church (1505 North Carolina Hwy 58, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A reception was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Keel's Residence.
