She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Rudolph Mooring and Lula Askew Mooring; her son Richard Bailey Turnage; and her brothers, Carlton Ricks Mooring and Billy Wayne Mooring.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Josh Bailey Turnage and Richard Banx Turnage; her sister Nell Mooring Murphrey; her stepchildren, Derek Holloman (Holly) and Sabrina Holloman Cox (Mike); her stepgrandchildren, Bailey Holloman, Jamie Holloman and Shay Whitley; and her nieces, Jackie M. McLawhorn (Johnny) and Karla M. Jennings (Jay) of Snow Hill.
