She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Buchanan (Anita) of Bakersville, NC, Dean Buchanan (Mary) of Tipton Hill, NC, Greg Buchanan of Bakersville, NC and Mark Buchanan of Bakersville, NC; her sister Ruth Ford; her husband Robert Jack Buchanan; and her son Joe Buchanan. She is also survived by two grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
