She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Hinnant, Sr. and Zona Wise Hinnant; and her siblings, Pearline H. Stepp, Linda H. Speight, Addie Rae H. Comstock, Ramona H. Beaman, John T. Hinnant Jr. and Harold Hinnant.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Truman Joyner; her son Steven Joyner (Laura); her granddaughter Cristina Joyner; her brothers, Phillip Hinnant (Marie) and Rocky Hinnant (Pat); and her siblings-in-law, Vickie Wells (G. T.) and J. W. Joyner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
