He is survived by: his wife Judith Mercer; his children, Casey Bradshaw (Kevin Moats) of Snow Hill, Michelle Mercer of Snow Hill and Michael Mercer (Jenna) of Sneed's Ferry; his sister Wanda Walston (Wade) of Walstonburg; his nieces, Madison Mercer and Megan Gay; and his nephew Kevin Mercer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
