He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlyle M. Taylor and Fannie Stroud Taylor; his brothers, Ed Taylor and Larry Taylor; and his parents-in-law, Reverend Dan Beaman and Nina H. Beaman.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Beaman Taylor; his sister-in-law Mary Godwin Reed (Randy) of Pennsylvania; his nephew Don Godwin (Marie) of Virginia; and his great-nieces, Grace Godwin and Caroline Godwin.
