He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joyce Robertson and L. C. Roberson. He is survived by: his wife Helen Johnson Roberson; his children, Connie Roberson Thomas (Clarkston) of Garland, Judy Roberson Strickland (Terry) of Seven Springs and James Edward "Eddie" Roberson (Tracy) of Walstonburg; his grandson Jonathan Massey (Summer) of Pink Hill; his great grandchild Maris Massey; his sisters, Frankie Jackson of South Carolina and Cheryl Brittain of South Carolina; his extended family, Sarah and Larry Head; and his caregiver Wanda Barnes. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
