As Christine Allen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Christine Allen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Christine Allen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Millard Allen and Asolee Daughtry Allen; her husband Donald H. "Bud" Sauls; and her siblings, Merline Rose and Walter Eugene Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Gray of Grifton, Donald Allen Sauls (Michelle) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Dean Sauls (Mellissa) of Zebulon; her sister Joyce Parker (Larry) of Four Oakes; and also Betsy Elcock of Grifton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
