It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Wilson Beaman (Snow Hill, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Tharrington and Bessie Strickland Tharrington; her husbands, William J. Wilson and Joseph Beaman; and her siblings, Judith Kearney, Mary Elizabeth Grant, Corrina Gooch, Archie Tharrington, Spurgeon Tharrington and Howard Tharrington.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Jo Stroud (Donald) of Greenville and Jeff Wilson of Washington; her stepchildren, Sally Ann Beaman Smith of Snow Hill and Jack Beaman (Anna Winn) of Snow Hill; and her sister Margaret Chase Tharrington of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
