He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Aiken Sr. and Rosalie Edwards. He is survived by: his spouse Seroba Anderson; his children, Mary Rose Knight (Everette) of Raleigh, Robert P. Aiken, III of Greenville and Seroba Murphy (William) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Owen (Chambliss), Mary Aiken (Hayes), Harrison Barrow (Hannah), Daniel and Joseph Murphy; his great grandchildren, Frances, Ned and Charlotte; his nieces and nephews, Susan Catlette, Dorothy Lamm, Romaine Lamm, Carol Lamm, Warren Rogers (Debbie) and James Waddell; and his friend Linda Suggs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Calvary Memorial (107 W Greene St, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
