She was predeceased by: her husband Ashby Ben Bynum; her parents, Myrtle Sugg Hill and William Bailey Hill; and her brothers, Linley Hill and Earl Hill.
She is survived by: her children, James Bynum (Lisa Bynum) and Drew Bynum (Monica Bynum); her grandsons, Matthew Bynum and Ben Bynum; her daughter Misty Bynum Williams (Ed Williams); her siblings, James "Bud" Hill and Selma Grant; and her great grandchild Kennedy Winslow. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Hull Road OFW Baptist Church for Foreign Missions, 3984 Hull Road, Snow Hill, NC 28580.
